If you already haven't been told, I have joined the US Marine Corps back in March, and graduated boot camp back in June. Afterwards, I got sent to California for my MOS (military occupational skill, i.e. job) school. Now that I have recently graduated and officially became a 0311 Infantry Rifleman (I'm the guy that kicks down doors, kicks charmander, takes name and purge the world of evil). My unit is 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment. Dark Horse. For a little history lesson and you guys who played Call Of Duty World at War, remember that symbol that the Marines had? That the 5th Marine Regiment symbol, that's what I'm part of now.
Here's the depressing part. My first duty station is unfortunatly Camp Pendleton, CA. So, I'm stuck out here. I refuse to let the be a reason for resigning from the Philly Otaku. I love you guys and you all kick charmander. But I regret to say I can't be hanging out has much as before. Eventually, I'll make my way down to the east coast. Until I can change duty station, my appearance in Philly will be rare. I shall be taking off about a week or two off in December around christmas time, not sure exactly the details yet, its still kinda a ways off.

RRrrrrrrrg....
How is cloud going to beat up sephiroth when he's on the opposite coast ?
We do miss you a lot. I'll have to definitely keep in touch with you so we can chill in december. I'll be sure to take off a day or two to hopefully hang out at least once. If you have regular internet access, we can certainly keep in contact that way.
Hopefully you'll be on the east coast soon. Until then, good luck and stay safe out there.

While we're all playing Call Of Duty Modern Warfare, you are doing the real thing. It doesn't get much more badass then that.

All except that "Use a medkit!" part. Thing is, in real life, Game over really means Game Over. It's a vastly different mind set in real life. But of all those fun times when you've said, "i wanna nuke that guy or blow his head off", he can really do that. ^.^

Neuco: Thanks, I'll be in Philly sometime around X-mas as I said before. And suprisingly, all that awesome gear and tech you get in the CoD4 single player campaign? It actually exists and I get to use them. Its pretty awesome being able to see a targeting laser that your enemy can only if he has night vision capabilities. hehe..Oorah!
Cloud: Actually, becuase of medical advances, the medikit we use, called the IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit), in the right hands can literally mean the difference between life or death. I'm looking at mine, and it has some good stuff in there. Good thing I'm skilled with it, I carry it around where ever I go with a backpack.
Anywho, enough of the military talk. Thanks for all your support. It really helps me to know that I haven't became a distant memory.

Call of Duty uses real geniune equipment models i believe. The stuff in those games is built directly from the physical equipment the military uses in real life. So as new stuff comes out, you're sure to see it in the games. Cosmic just gets to use it before you do sometimes. ^.^

yeah and remember how the person giving the questions didnt know jack about Hellsing.
Her full name is Integra Wingates Fairbrook Hellsing. "Sir" is a suffix and not part of the name.Holy crap, if you are going to use questuons, make sure you know the correct answer yourself.
