Just over the last few days, i've discovered the free anime channel on the cable system. So as a result, i've been delving into all sorts of random anime. Some titles have stuck out that i've been interested in. For some of you who are more familiar, maybe you can tell me if the titles i'm intersted in are worth a closer look:
Darker Than Black
Aquarion
Fruits Basket
Galaxy Railways
I've seen a smattering of episodes from each series, and none in the chronological order they were intended to be watched in. But i'm interested in these series. Any and all opinions are welcome so long as arguments don't break out, cuz i know people can be passionate about their anime. ^.^

If by Aquarion you mean Sousei no Aquarion, that series is pretty good. The op song is pretty popular when it first came out and the characters are pretty unique.
Fruits Basket is one of those that I started and somehow ended up getting side tracked on. Believe me when I say this, whatever expression the main character makes, don't be shocked that you end up making them as well. The anime diverges a lot from the manga from what I heard.
Only saw the first ep of Galaxy Railways. From what I can tell it's set in the same universe as Capt. Harlock, Galaxy Express 999 and Princess Esmerelda. Other than that, this one is a mystery to me.
For some crazy reason I can't seem to get my hands on any of the Dark than Black eps.

I loved fruits basket. It was a really popular anime in it's time, though I've never actually watched it. I read the manga, and for awhile, I was absorbed in it. I think they have really unique characters... It wouldn't be surprising if you have fell in love with one of the them, because there are sooo many different ones to relate to.
I've never seen darker than black, but I've heard good things about it.
I've never heard of the others =X

WEll, i found galaxy railways on the free anime on-demand channel on the cable. (its where i found all of them actually). Aquarion and galaxy railways are a bit obscure i'm thinking, but i'm looking at more episodes from each series.
Darker then black and fruits basket are both entertaining and will be warranting further looking on my part.

Being a slowpoke on this thread. I recently watched Galaxy Railways and It was amazing. Though not as amazing as Galaxy Express 999.
I've wanted to see Darker than Black though...
