Since there's a chance of rain, we may have to postpone this meet. I was thinking Tuesday, but if you can come up with a better day please let me know. And bringing your own food is important. There aren't any nearby restaurants where we can simply order pizza.

Oh man that picnic was so fepic. Too bad not many people showed up, but still everyone seemed to have a great time. That had to be the longest Apples to Apples games I've ever played XD And it was so great having some of you guys over for DDR and Guitar Hero (we should do it again sometime =D and don't worry guys; I'm not in trouble, my brother was totally kidding XD) And of course, let's not forget the fail boat and Cloud's 12 apple pies XD

Just want to thank Turtle and Cloud for scooping Edazer and I out and about!
Really... I haven't been on the boards in a bit and I apologize... ^^;;; BUT I am SOO happy to have went to the picnic! Epic times and welcome Joe again!
The photoshoot was fun stuff... Apples to Apples never gets old either. ^_~
I shall post the link to my pics after I upload them.

Hey! $6.60 gets you 12 apple pies. We can end uo with over 180 if we all ask for 12 apples pies each!

It was so fun! We need to make another picnic and try and grab everyone again to go. And no problem Joanna! It was amazing and fun to have you and Edazer there. I can't wait to see the pictures of us roleplaying lol. But the next raid I'll make sure I go again. Miss you guys already ^_^

For a future gathering at Burholme Park, there is a Wawa 5 minutes down the street. So there is a place to get lunch meats and bread for sandwiches. Drinks can also be bought there as well. However, to capitalize on efficiency, snacks can be bought at BJ's wholesale, where you get stuff in bulk for cheaper.
In general, the picnic was a success, and with plenty of wide open shady space, it made for a pleasant gathering.
I would definitely up for having another picnic at Burholme Park.

I really think we should. Probably after Otakon since everyone might be tired after the trip. But for a relaxing time and a good idea for a bigger get together, it be perfect. It is very relaxing and really nice to just run around and be silly. Plus next time maybe we can bring more blankets, radio for anime music or j-pop, and more food. I also can borrow my mom's video camera so we could make a raid video to put up so introduce the Philly Otaku to other people who want to join. I mean thats how I got really excited about meeting everyone. Hiro showed me a video of the ice skating at Pennslanding and I thought how amazing it was to see so many people into anime. So maybe their should be a meeting about it. Up to you guys.

I missed this.
Burholme is basically 5 mins away from my place.
xD
Yeah, same here. My sister and I walk there all the time. =p
