It seems that nobody bothered to inform Flipster that you need car insurance to rent a vehicle in the US, that being the case we will NOT be able to take a bus to AnimeNEXT, this was an unlikely outcome, but due to some unexpected circumstances we have no other choice. As long as such events don't happen again, this will be the last time such an event occurs within the group.

So, this does leave NJ transit as our only option... being as it it will be a bit bothersome, the plus side is that the event will only cost about 100$ for hotel and transportation. I appologise that we have to turn to this option, but we will make sure that everyone makes it from point A to point B and back safely.

EVERYONE WHO IS GOING. Please make sure that you will be able to make it to 30th St. Station by 3:30 PM, 3:45 at the latest. The EL in center city and the Northeast area of Philadelphia makes a stop at that station, as well as all Regional Rails. If you have any issues or problems, please contact me through PM or phone (You may contact Sare-chan by phone if I cannot be reached for any reason.) Sorry again, guys.

Unfortunately C&C Ford was unable to provide a van. And they also would not allow me to rent, but have someone else drive. Mostly due to Flip not being on my insurance policy. I was hoping to see if things would work out, but unfortunately that didn't happen. Hopefully you guys will get to AnimeNEXT without a problem. Good luck and have fun!

A CHANGE IN TRAVEL PLANS!!!

This new plan should be less complicated than the previously posted schedule while remaining at a cheap affordable price!!
--------------------------------------------------------------

*(Read schedule downwards....below departures is time and location)

*(Intervals between transfers is completely dependent on when we arrive at our next train/bus station)

**Philadelphia 30th Street (Station) to Hoboken (Station)

"Northeast Corridor Line (NEC)"
"Main & Bergen Co Line (MNBN)"

Origin------------------Transfer--------------------Transfer
Departure---------------Departure-------------------Departure

03:59 PM - SEPTA--------05:03 PM - NEC--------------06:36 PM - MNBN
----------------------Trenton Transit Center--------Secaucus Junction
-------------------------

*Destination-------------Total Travel Time
Arrival
---------------------------170 minutes
06:49 PM

-------------------------------------------------------------

Fares

NJ TRANSIT fares are shown below. The one-way adult SEPTA fare between Trenton and Philadelphia is $8. For complete SEPTA fare options visit their website at http://www.septa.org

Some trips can be completed by transferring at either Secaucus or Hoboken. For most trips, the higher Secaucus fare is presented because there are significantly greater transfer and travel options available.

One-way and round-trip tickets may be purchased on board your train. However, if the ticket office is open or a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) is available, there will be a $5.00 surcharge per person including children (except senior/disabled tickets).

Adult One Way---16.50
Child/Senior/Disabled One Way-----7.50
Adult Off-Peak Round Trip* -----------28.50
Child Off-Peak Round Trip* --------------14.00
Ten Trip ----------------165.00
Weekly---------141.00
Monthly----------------463.00
Student Monthly-----------------347.00
--------------------------------------------------------------------

From this point we're going to take the #85 bus to the con which is instructed from the AnimeNext website info listed below.

*From NJ (and points South)

By Mass Transportation

Take a NJ Transit train to the Hoboken Terminal (Morris/Essex, Main/Bergen, North Jersey, Montclair Boonton, Pascack Valley, or Raritan Valley Lines). Take the #85 Bus to the Meadowlands Expo Center.

http://www.animenext.org/location#directions

We'll be taking the same method back home on sunday. The #85 bus will take us back to Hoboken Station where we'll proceed back to 30th Street Station.
